NORTHERN NECK WINE TRAIL PASSPORT PROGRAM KICKOFF

VIRGINIA’S NORTHERN NECK May 23, 2008 – The wine trail kicks off a passport program with prizes, discounts and special activities beginning Memorial Day Weekend. With eight wineries in the trail the passport program offers a great incentive to explore the region and learn about Virginia's new wine country. Starting with the Memorial Day Weekend Kick-Off, you have all year to complete your passport and get a discount at wineries on the Northern Neck Wine Trail. After visiting just six of the wineries on the trail, you will receive a 10% discount on wine purchases for the rest of the year from any one of us.



Over the Memorial Day weekend you get a chance to win a gift basket drawing at participating wineries. Drawings will be held at 6pm on Monday the 26th of May. A gift basket will be awarded at each participating winery. The winners will receive a 1-night stay at a local B&B on their next visit. Souvenir wine glasses, Tee-Shirts and local hand-crafted items from the region will also be included in the gift basket.
